21 June 2012, United Water signed loan agreements with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to help finance the further expansion of its business. IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector. The loan agreements with IFC adds another world renowned financial institution to United Water’s financial backers and will enable United Water to expand its provision of water supply and waste water treatment to new areas.
