| 18 July 2012, United Water announces that it has won the tender for the Cheng Bei BOT waste water treatment plant in Su Cheng District of Su Qian city. The project is to build a 40,000 metric tons per day waste water treatment plant to meet the 1A emission standard with the first phase being 15,000 metric tons per day at an investment of RMB 110 million. This is the second waste water treatment project that United Water has won in the city of Suqian this year. The plant when combined with United Water’s existing water supply plants in Suqian allows the company to demonstrate an integrated model within a single city covering the entire water process from taking raw water through to final discharge back to the environment. |
