On 21 March 2014 United Water successfully completed the registration of its Ningxia Helan project company United Water (Ningxia Helan) Co., Ltd.

 

United Water through its project company United Water (Ningxia Helan) Co., Ltd will invest in the waste water facility of the Ningxia Ecological Textile Industry Demonstration Zone using a BOT model.  The project concession is for a period of 30 years with planned waste water treatment capacity of 100,000 metric tons per day to meet the national 1A standard.  Following treatment the water will be reused by the enterprises and gardens of the zone achieving environmentally friendly water recycling. 

 

United Water has 11 operating companies in 8 cities with a combined planned water treatment capacity of 1.2 million tons per day.  The Ningxia Helan project represents United Water’s first project in the Central Western region of China and will help to accelerate United Water’s development in this important region.
